Steve S34 days agoWhole process was very good. From initial consultation to installation, the team was professional. They allowed time for our research and answered questions without any pressure to make a decision. We are happy with the installation and operation of our shutters. A real enhancement to our home, allowing both natural sunlight and privacy. Great job Jeremy. We decided to install the cafe shutters on the last three windows facing out the back of the house. Jeremy’s team (Matt) was courteous and professional. MITS Jeremy came out, agreed with our concerns, and found an alternative: Shadowspec Retreat....a wall mounted umbrella that extends, tilts, and give us all the shade we wanted. The product is great! but BEST OF ALL is the exceptional customer service we received from Jeremy. He went out of his way to make sure I could operate the umbrella (because I'm short, and have had a stroke) before installing it. I have so much respect for him and the company. It was so easy from quote to install to payment. The blinds were installed perfectly. The quality is great, and price was very reasonable. We have numerous double windows and I thought we’d need two side by side blinds because I read of sagging with big box stores, I’m so glad I asked and one was recommended for aesthetics. They are very attentive to the final effect you want for the blinds on your windows and have just the product to make my vision a reality. I needed a creamy off white in some windows but white in others yet I needed them all to go together. No problem for them. Recently I added blinds to two rooms I hadn’t updated on my first contract with Made in the Shade and again they matched what they had done last year. Having upgraded my blinds with them once before I shouldn’t have been surprised, but once installed in the two bedrooms I could hardly believe how much they upgraded the whole room. We decided to update our window treatments and reached out to Brad Hicks with Made in the Shade (Mebane). Brad was prompt in setting up an appointment to discuss our needs. He was very helpful in guiding us in a window treatment and one that blended with our home and window style. He presented many choices and fabric variations. After we firmed up our choice he quickly emailed a detailed quote which plainly showed pricing depending on fabric tier. We made our decision and Brad promptly placed the order and let us know that it would take approximately two weeks. In two weeks he reached out to discuss a convenient time to schedule an install appointment. To start with, Brad knew his job and showed us a great selection of quality products and materials we could choose from. Our project included installing roller shades in all of the windows. Some of these were also outfitted with drapery and valances But most amazing though was how Brad designed and installed a more than 12 ft wide, floor to ceiling, 3 panel Roman Shade with a beautiful one-piece Valence on top.
